Beyond the lab
A few things that keep me busy when I'm not designing circuits.
The "Push"
I started my fitness journey in early 2025. Like many, I began with an unnamed trainer, hoping for professional guidance. However, I soon found myself dissatisfied with the motivation and the "push" being provided. It felt too routine, too safe.
I decided to take matters into my own hands. I started going to the gym by myself, researching my own routines, and pushing my own limits. Since then, the progress—both in the weights I'm moving and my overall physique—has been incredibly rewarding. There's something uniquely satisfying about being your own toughest coach.
Water Fascination
My love for the water started early. My family tells stories of a trip to Puri, Odisha, where I was practically obsessed. I'd constantly run towards Chilika Lake, fascinated by the vastness of it all.
That fascination turned into a skill. I learned to swim at a young age and it has stayed with me ever since. Now, every summer, you'll find me in the pool. It's my favorite form of recreational cardio—a way to clear my head while staying active.
The Art of Conversation
My MUNning career has been quite an adventure. I've had the privilege of attending Harvard MUN 2023, Harvard MUN 2024, and the IIT Techfest MUN 2023, along with at least ten other local inter-school conferences.
Looking back, these weren't just about debating international policy. For me, they were a way to hone my then-terrible conversational skills. Spending time with some of the smartest minds in Bangalore and across the world forced me to grow, listen, and articulate better. It's a chapter of my life I'm deeply grateful for.
Digital Playgrounds
Gaming has always been a significant part of my life. I have a deep love for Minecraft, a game that's more than just blocks to me. Back when he was with us, I loved watching Technoblade (may his soul rest in peace).
He was a huge motivation for me. Watching him navigate the "tools of the internet" to learn, create, and build a community during the COVID-19 lockdown changed how I saw the web. He showed me that the internet is a vast library of knowledge if you know how to use it.
These days, when I'm looking for something a bit faster-paced, I'm usually playing Trackmania or Overwatch with friends. It's our way of staying connected and having a laugh after a long day.
